The Learning programme is an interactive seminar-based format delivered by experiencedindustry professionals who are industry leaders in their topics. The two mainseries of seminars are the Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) and the SeniorLeader of Corporate Real Estate.
The MCR Professional Development Series is currently available in Europeand addresses the effective management of CRE functions from a strategicperspective that focuses on the mission of the CRE organisation in relation tocorporate goals. It is valuable for those at the mid-management level in CREand those positioning themselves for mid-management level, including serviceproviders.
The Series has a strong financialcomponent, which emphasises the critical need for understanding corporate realestate's linkage to the corporate bottom line. Strategic approaches inportfolio management, aligning real estate to business strategy, outsourcingand partnering, technology and workplace strategy are included in the Series.
The local UK Chapter programmes are:
The University of Reading offers a very highly rated MSc in Corporate Real Estate. Its format is a‘blend' of individual study and seminars which are accessible individually oras a complete course of topic based modules. Students who complete three ofthese modules become eligible for the MCR designation awarded by CoreNet Global.
CoRE Workshops is a series ofsessions on critical CRE skills that has been developed from Learning seminarsor other longer seminars and distils the key learning points into two to fourhour learning sessions delivered to Chapters around the world. A programme ofCoRE Workshops was introduced in the UK in 2008. Their aim is to providean overview of a topic to a level that will give an appreciation of its keypoints or help identify the focus for further learning activity, such as theMCR, if more in-depth knowledge would be helpful for personal or professionaldevelopment.

The 4iForum has been created to develop breakthrough ideas and to encourage strategicthinking and entrepreneurial behaviour within the CRE function. Executives willlink their CRE role with their organisation's business objectives to addincreased value and enable greater involvement and credibility.
The 4iForums is a series of hard hitting, subject connected one-day seminars.Participation is self- steering in terms of topics and responsibility forlearning outcomes These events offer an opportunity for connected interestgroups to challenge themselves to deal with real business issues and workthrough them to successful conclusions.
